Cancellation/ No-Show Policy for Doctor Appointment
We understand that there are times when you must miss an appointment due to emergencies or obligations for work or family. However, when you do not call to cancel an appointment, you may be preventing another patient from getting treatment. If an appointment is not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance for a total of three appointments, then you will be placed on a “Stand by Appointment Only” notice and will not be guaranteed an appointment. Stand by appointments (SBA) are 30-minute walk-in appointments between 11am and 3pm. There is no guarantee you will be able to be seen when put on “Stand by Appointment Only” notice. SBA notice will last for 1 full year.
Scheduled Appointments
We understand that delays can happen however when you are late it cuts into other patients' time. If a patient is 10 minutes past their scheduled time, we will have to reschedule the appointment, and this will count towards the patient's No-Show count.
